Tracker Requirements
Hardware, OS, and connectivity for BogeyHunter — The Tracker
The short version: The desktop runs on any reasonably modern Windows 10/11 PC or Mac — no GPU required, 4 GB RAM minimum with the bundled AI loaded. The iPhone companion targets iOS 26 with iOS 18 fallback. Sync needs both devices on the same Wi-Fi.
Desktop — Minimum

A small, capable AI model is bundled inside the installer — about 1 GB on disk. The AI writes narrative summaries about your stats; classical math computes the numbers themselves. CPU-only inference is a supported baseline, not a fallback.

Apple Watch, on-device Whisper voice scoring, and HealthKit integration are deferred to a later release (Phase 3b in the roadmap). The current iPhone scope (Phase 3a) covers course DB, digital scorecard, photo OCR, Live Activities, Dynamic Island, and LAN sync.

Course Coverage
The Tee Time Hunter works with most major tee-time platforms used by US and Canadian courses. Coverage depends on what each course exposes; some courses will show up immediately, others may not. When something opens up that fits your filters, you complete the booking on the course’s own site — The Tracker doesn’t log in or book on your behalf.
What The Tracker Does Not Need
- No NVIDIA GPU. The Tracker is not the swing-analysis platform — that’s Coach Mulligan’s desktop. The Tracker’s LLM is small enough to run on CPU.
- No cameras. There is no swing capture in The Tracker — just scorecards and analytics.
- No accounts, no servers, no cloud sync. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No internet during a round. Score on the iPhone offline; sync to desktop later.
